App with 'Auto' set for App Delivery Method is not getting installed promptly on Android devices (Legacy and Enterprise)

This issue has been happening lately where the app does not get installed promptly upon completing enrollment. It normally takes over 10 minutes before the app will finally get installed itself. While we certainly can ask the user to install it manually from the Legacy app catalog or managed Google Play Store, this is not ideal.

Does anyone have a similar experience?

I thought this issue might be related to the KB below, after reading it again I don't believe so.
