Android rooted device - magisk

heard there is a bug on AW when using magisk to root into Android device, AW will not detect it is a rooted device. anyone else having this 'issue'?

Hiding from detection is the point of magisk it will be a continuous game of cat and mouse just like it hiding from safteynet attestation is.  Given they cannot figure out how to make their jailbreak detection for iOS work since 13 launched and not determine the OS itself is a violation I would not hold out any hope they can compete in a cat and mouse game where Google is often losing

I've heard about the issue with Android Wear not detecting rooted devices when using Magisk. To work around this, you can try using the Edit app called Vita Video Editor. It's a popular video editing app that doesn't require root access and should work well on your rooted Android device. Give it a try and see if it helps resolve the issue with Android Wear not recognizing your device as rooted.
