Old Windows 2000 (!) guest

I have an old Windows 2000 Server guest VM.

I need to enlarge a 200 GB virtual HD.

I enlarged the virtual HD but I am unable to enalrge the partition, ad diskpart does not allow resizing a basic partition.

Can anybody suggest any alternate solution?

Regards

marius

Hi Marius,

on Windows 2000 and 2003 servers the Dell ExtPart utility can be used to extend a basic disk.

You can download it here: http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=R64398
