anyways i can deploy multiple esx 3.5 servers to same Dell servers to save time?
The best way to do this is with a scripted install as the others have said. The links above are great. Here is another good one from yellow-bricks. http://www.yellow-bricks.com/2008/06/27/scripted-install/
Also, do a search on the forums as there are some excellent articles. People have used the UDA (Ultimate Deployment Appliance) and EDA (ESX deployment appliance) with great results. I have been using the UDA and love it.
Here is another older but still good article on UDA. If you have questions just do some searching as there are some great resources out here on this stuff.
You can run a scripted installation after you installed the first Server, Page 103 of

vployment will also do the job however it is not free so scripted is probably your best choice like the guys above said
I have the same issue as I need to deploy ESX 3.5 to IBM blade servers. I have used scripted install to automate the ESX installation. But, since we do this for the US Navy so we need to hardening the ESX OS with the UNIX STIG, and VMware patchces . This also a manual process and burned a lot of time. Since, we are under a gun to crank out the ESX to testing and deployment. We need something that can rapidly deploy ESX in a mass.
In the past, I have use Acronis True Image to take a Win 2K/2K3 server image and deploy it to the same hardware server. All, I need is to run the "SID Changer"; the server name and IP address and I am good to go. Acronis has a similar product for Linux and I wonder someone here use it? Also, is Linux has something similar to Windows SID that unique per server? I am "obviously" not a Linux guy.
Or, if someone know a product that can clone ESX for rapid deploymnet to the same hardware. Any help or suggestion are greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
