...when every time you try and login to one of your physical server you keep hitting by mistake.
Any others?
Using to get out of an RDP session....?
I keep trying to 'ls' my directories in Windows.
Pressing CTRL-ALT to leave a window - often used with RDP and terminal sessions - and typing esxtop instead of top.
Yep...I do that one alot. When you are in a (mostly) Windows shop people look at you like there's something wrong with you when they see you do that!
I thought I was the only one.
I am always getting / and \ mix up
that and ls in a cmd prompt
No matter how many times I try, ls will not work in the cmd prompt.
that's where the Cygwin tools were made for
Spending about 10 minutes troubleshooting why I couldnt connect to or find Dell Server Administrator on one of my windows machine.
That's why I switched to a Mac
That's why I use REAL operating systems when I have the chance.
A shell, vi, perl, sed and awk is all you need
But maybe I'm simply too old fashioned ...
Root of problem: server not virtualized...

Feeling bad for physical servers....so lonely...so isolated
Once when I was showing a co-worker how to do a P2V, without thinking I whispered: "Prepare to be assimilated".
My co-worker heard me and was like: "Maybe you should take a walk.....disconnect."
You press the hot keys to go full/windowed screen, but you realized you're on the non-virtual system.
