VMware Virtual Appliance Questions (quick ones)

1. We plan to release an appliance that is not OVF or meant to run in ESX. I assume it falls under the Hosted Class?

2. If we apply to have our appliance validated and it fails do we need to pay "again" to have it re-evaluated?

3. Embedded Linux is getting more popular. UClinux is not a supported OS (no tools). What are our options here?

a. Can we place a community appliance up as UClinux?

b. Can we possibly make it VMWARE READY if we write the tools for it and pass the test matrix?
