VM with Snapshot File

To all,

I have a VM snapshot file that did not remove after a backup did not complete.

Does anyone know the proper command to commit this snap so it will be removed.

I have been using the vmbk.pl script to do weekly backups of certain VM's with no issue. For some reason this paticular VM did not successfully complete and now I cannot backup it up again because it says the Snapshot is already present.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

TIA!

Your snapshotmanager doesn;'t show any snapshot ?

The *.vmsd file is missing or blank ?

In this case create another new snapshot and commit it immediatly - this usually fixes the broken snapshot-tree

Continuum,

You reply did not answer my question but I was able to find an answer in the VMWare Knowledge base.

Thanks for your help anyway.
