my question is, i have completed certification ESX3.5 (VCP-310)now vsphere has relesed relesed.So Esx3.5 valid for certification whether i have to upgrade to vsphere?How long valid for esx3.5(vcp-310) certification?

You are certified specialist on VI3, including ESX 3.0 and 3.5. This certification won't expire, but you're not certified on vSphere (ESX 4.0).

I am still a VCP on ESX 2/VC 1,x - the VCP does not expire it just loses its applicability over time as new products come out -

Hi,

At present there is no expiration set by vmware on certifications

but you have to upgrade yourself on upcoming products

if you have vcp3 you have to take exam on vcp4 before 31 dec 2009. otherwise course is mandatory to become vcp4
