VCB Image Files Stay on Server

Hello

I just did a VCB full-image backup and restore for the first time. It went pretty well however the files are on the server? How can I get rid of these apart from just deleting them. Is there a command?

Is this ESX or ESXi? Also, which server are the files on? Your VCB Proxy or your virtualization host?

Why do you think they should be gone after restore? It's your backup.

Ok Thanks I think i was misunderstanding the process

So how do I back up other machines? If this is using my storage? should i manually delete?

After vcbmounter finishes you'll have VM backup. It's up to you what you are going to do with it. For ex. I run batch file to backup my VI where it calls another batch file to "backup vm, pack vm files, move to temporary datastore, clean up". This process repeats for each VM I specified in list.

At finish I have some archives to backup to tape.
