Trying to find out what is happening in the Virtualization industry around Type 1 hypervisors specifically targeted at laptops and workstations. You could probably get 3i to run on some laptops today, however you would be unable to visualize any of the guests on the laptop itself. You would require a separate node to run the VI console or RDP. So, what I'm trying to find out is whether there are any developments coming or that you can do today that allows you to visualize guests running inside of a type 1 hypervisor on the same physical node that is running the hypervisor.
