How do I shrink a linux vmware disk? In windows you have that nice little vmwre tools gui where you can do that, in linux you do not have anything...

In Linux guests you have the same thing. Run the vmware-toolbox applet while in your X session (launch with admin rights if you want to be able to shrink the disks).
