Recovering disc space.

I have a question regarding space allocation. I created the VM to allocate space when needed. Something happened on my system to cause the drives to fill up, therefore using up all the space in the VM. I there a way to shrink that back down to the actual size that the VM is using?

Assuming you are running Workstation:

In the VMtools is an option to shrink the disc. Try this but do a defrag first.
