Server manufacturers are starting to offer the long awaited Barcelona Quad Core processors. One of the features touted is "Rapid Virtualization Indexing". Can anyone explain whether this is something that gives them a serious edge over the Intel Quad Cores in a virtualized environment? The Intel's have a higher clock speed and I've heard that the new AMD's aren't faster, but I'm wondering if this is physical.
