Hi

LUN missing in one of the blades server . when we try to rescan the LUN it takes time. Pls adivce

Are you sure your zoning is correctly configured ?

If you don't have hard zoning configured, try to invert connections between two host and look if something change.

otherwise try this :

#Set Disk.MaxLUN to 40 to reduce rescan time:

esxcfg-advcfg -s 40 /Disk/MaxLUN

service mgmt-vmware restart
