How to export from VM tools to player?

Question is above. Do I need to export the virtual computer? do I just need to copy the folder of the virtual computer? can I just use a single file in the virtual computer folder?

Not at all sure I understand your question....but here goes:

If you're running a VM under VMware Workstation or VMware Server and you want to run the same VM under VMware Player, the simplest thing to do is to copy the folder that contains the VM's files to a new location and then point VMware Player to the .vmx file contained in the new folder.
