Exam Advice

Hi There

I recently took the VI3 Config and install course with he intension of being able to upgrade all the VM environment in my company (only 50 VMs and 7 physical hosts at the moment) but my management doesn’t seem to understand the VMware way of things....... i was told to use the product for a month or two beofre i take the exam, and I have been trying to on some old machines in our lab. But these machines were not to good and i couldn't even use DRS and HA.

The Company now want me to take the exam before I do any work on our environment. Can someone please advise me on this? Is there any books i could use? or white papers that are essential to read befor doing things this way? I Just don't want to fail the exam and waste £130, even if the company do pay me back.

Have you considered creating some virtual ESX servers inside of VMware workstation? While the performance will be terrible, you should be able to use it as an exam study aid.
