Backup Exec 11D Ralus w/ESX 3.0.1

Has anyone been successful installing and running the Backup Exec 11D ralus agent on your ESX 3.0.1 server?

I've read a few threads here regarding this, and the referenced article on Tooms:

Only references version 10d which apparently has some issue w/Linux.

I am able to successfully install Ralus, but I cannot see the newly installed ESX server from within Backup Exec 11D.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have succeeded. I now just need to workout the best strategy to backup the VM machines that are running with minimal impact.

I had to open ports on the ESX server firewall. This them showed the ESX server in the BE client as expected.
