5nine P2V Planner for Hyper-V and VMware Vs. Opnet capacity planning tool

Hi All,

Looking for an assessment and capacity planning tool to analyze existing infrasturcture. Do anyone have experience with any of the tools above? Please provide some feedback.

Also, do anyone have any recommendations beside the two tools that were mentioned above?

if you are doing capacity planning against your entire environment why not just have VMware or Partner do it?

There is a difference though: VMware Capacity Planner is specific to VMware. 5nine Planner and Optimizer recommends the most suitable platform (VMware or Hyper-V) depending upon the size / type of the data center, application workloads and other technology and business factors. Does not have hosted components; End-user can do automated migration planning, virtual environment analysis and optimization for selected platform with integrated TCO/ROI, utilization trending and other reports.
