Hi all, I am new to Esxi and could not find an answer on this subject which is:
1. I am using packer to to a VM
2. I need to install vmware-tools on guest os
I know how to know to mount the tools via ESXi UI, but is is possible to mount it via an API call or something like that. That's because I need to automate the vm build process and in my case packer gets stuck with a vsphere-iso: Waiting for IP... even though the vm gets an ip without issue and I can ssh to it.
