.vmdk file shows up empty after attaching to other VM

HI All

I have created 2nd .vmdk file for a existing VM and formated and saved some fies into it which were around 500MB. Then I detached 2nd drive from this VM and connected it to another VM but if I look at this drive it shows up empty in other VM!! I am using ESX3.5/VC2.5

I am very confused as it is just like attaching any .vmdk which I have done it previously with vmserver 1.04.

Any Idea as to why ESX is showing such a behaviour?

Thanks

Ajay

What operating system are you running in the vm?

Thanks for your hint, I forgot that there is already 2nd drive which is connected to it and I thought that I have removed it, but I did not... After importing it it worked perfectly.

Thanks
