unable to login to VM

I am experiencing this problem multiple time with different VM. When i try to ping the VM it is successfully pinging but when i am tryin to take RDP it is not responding to RDP. Then when i tried to connect through the console my VM is up. if i enter my credentials to login it is not logging into the server rather it came back to the login screen again.

Can any one help me regarding this issue?

Does that mean the problem is solved? if not, drop a short note and answer with which account you try to log on. A local one or an AD account?

Thanks for your response, the problem was resolved sometimes it rarely occurs. I am using AD account to login.
