I had my vm trying to copy a text file to the host machine. There was an issue that caused VM to crash while doing this. (windows just reporteed a generic fatal error) I now get a message that this is locked to an open VM when I try to start the image again. This is on VM Workstation 5.5.1.
A google search informed me of this helpful site, but not a similar enough issue to get help fromwhat is already posted. Has anyone seen a similar issue? is there a way to recover? or have I lost all the work on the image?
