"Invalid virtual machine configuration" error when cloning RHEL4 VM

I've suddenly started getting the error message "Invalid virtual machine configuration." when I try to clone an existing Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 virtual machine. I have cloned this particular VM before, with no errors. When I look at the configuration, I don't see anything unusual.

What am I doing wrong?

Are you experimenting licensing problems?

Can you vmotion a vm from an host to another?

If so this is a license bug and I can give you a workaround.

Do you have particular device mounted on guest?

Like cdrom, floppy.
