error when trying to add file server role to w2k3

tyring to implement  a file share in our virtual infrastructure.  when I try to add the role i'm being prompted for a file:  microsoft.storage.sanmmc.dll

i insert my 2k3 disc and mount drive to my VM, but still can't find the file.

i tried installing this hotfix with no positive results:  KB Article Number(s): 946824

any assistance is greatly appreciated!  thanks

looks like my clone didn't work right, i'll try to repair the VM OS using 2k3 sp2 disk

Also double check that you're using the exact same media that you used for the installation. 2003 and 2003 R2 have many differences when it comes to the File server role; the DLLs aren't identical.
