You can't mount the USB drive in the ESXi console, but you can do the following

1) On your management PC, get a hold of the ISO file and then copy it to your ESXi host (right click on the datastore in the vSphere client and select browse - you'll see an icon to upload files)

2) Once the ISO in on the host, edit the properties for the VM. Select the CD-ROM and change it to use a datastore file and then browse to your ISO file. Make sure to check the "connect at power on option" before you power on the VM.

3) Power on the VM and it should boot from the ISO image.

You can also mount an ISO image on the PC where you're using the vSphere client, but running it from the host's datastore is a bit easier.

Do you have a system or PCI card working with VMDirectPath? Submit your specs to the Unofficial VMDirectPath HCL.
