can anyone give me some info on virtualizing citrix 4.5 on ESX? experiences, white papers etc..
This is very critical app for us and I am planning to get it virtualized asap

Here are a couple of blogs/webpages that I keep to hand for Citrix on VMware ESX.
But as a general rule of thumb try and avoid P2V'ing, fresh installs tend to be easier to manage and perform better. Look at a scale out model opposed to a scale up model, so more smaller VM's rather than a couple of large ones.
Also follow general Citrix tuning, physical or virtual these are proven ways to ensure that Terminal Servers/Citrix servers run as well as possible. For example the following KB from Citrix is for AntiVirus CTX114522
