Windows NT guest OS... mouse/keyboard input disappear after VMtools install...

I just P2V'd about six of my client's old WindowsNT 4 servers... All of them went very smoothly except for this last one...

Once I P2V it using VMware Converter, the new virtual NT4 server boots fine. I log in and install VMware Tools. When I reboot, I no longer have keyboard or mouse input into the VM. There is no mouse cursor at all, and even selecting "Send Ctrl-Alt-Del" from the console's VM menu does not result in a login box. Yet the VM is running, as its services are on-line, VMware Tools reports status is "OK", and one can ping it.

Obviously, this won't do... Smiley Happy

Any ideas?

No dice. Still does the same thing.

As soon as VMtools goes on, after the restart I have no mouse or keyboard at all.
