We’re having trouble getting the ‘customisation’ to work for Windows 7..
Running Vsphere 4.0.2 / View 4.5
Have followed articles on how to set up the template, and create Windows 7 guest customisation, however when a VM is deployed from the template, it does not go through the customisation’ process. The deployed VM simply boots up with the name of the the template 'Win7Temp'.
The guest customisation has been prepared in the customisation Specification Manager.
Sysprep action has been copied to Vcentre server (as prevously), as sysprep is picked up directly in Windows 7 client.
Can anyone help point us in the right direction as to how to do this correctly?
