Windows 2003 server R2 64bit

I'm trying to load W2K3_64 on a Dell Poweredge 6800 Dual core with VT enabled. It boots from the windows install disk and starts loading setup(nt executive) and then just hangs there on "Setup is starting windows". I'm running a w2k3_64 bit vm on this box already but it wasn't installed on the 6800 I migrated this vm over to it. I've tried 2 different cd's and also burned and booted from an .iso of the server disk. Any thoughts?

Yes, it's installed. Although I'm not sure I installed them (patches) in the correct order. I do remember a message or two while patching stating that certain packages needed to be downgraded. When I run a patch query I don't get a list of any missing or corrupt packages but I'll reapply that patch tonight and see how it goes tomorrow. Thanks

Ok, I'm an idiot. I just clicked on "Microsoft Windows" as the guest OS and left it at the default of Windows 2003 Standard instead of selecting 2003 standard (64 bit). Doh! Thanks for the input though.
