You can use advanced text editors like Ultraedit or Notepad++

Attached example using Notepad++. I searched and marked all lines that contains vmkernel, copied the marked lines and opened it in a new file.new2.JPGnew1.JPG

All logs you mentioned are being dumped into that syslog.log file. You have to manually sort them out.

You may want to try out VMware's vRealize Log Insight product. It is way better than the free "Syslog Collector". It can ingest any log file, has a pre-built content packs that presents logs in a graphical manner so it makes it so much easier to query for errors.

I have blogged about my experience with Log Insight here http://rh5592.com/2014/07/11/forwarding-vcenter-server-logs-into-log-insight-2-0/
