Weird resource issue

When we Vmotion a guest, sometimes, not everytime, but frequently, the CPU and Memory resources will change. The shares will change to custom and be set to whatever amount of memory or CPU is given to the guest. Also both the CPU and MEMory will change from an unlimited reservation to a limit of whatever is given to the guest. Took me several hours to figure out this was what was causing me to be CPU bound on a file server. The setting wasn't manually changed, so I didn't think to look there. Now I am finding several that have these settings. Has anyone else seen this?

ESX 3.5, VIC 2.5. But I think it was happening on ESX 3.02 and VIC 2.0 as well.

I have seen the same thing on my ESX 3.5 enviornment, and have double-checked that my 3.0.2 environment is not affected in this way.

Has anyone seen resolution to this issue?

We are possibly seeing this issue on ESX 3.0.2 and VC 2.0.1 where all shares have been changed to random 'Custom' shares and limits. We have searched the forums where people are talking about similar if not exact issues in ESX 3.5 and VC 2.5 pertaining to a DRS bug.
