Virtual Center Server (VM) CPU usage spikes in a perfect pattern?

Hi there, my virtual Virtual Center Server CPU spikes in a perfect pattern (every 30 minutes)

This is my observation tonight. It spiked at the following time (each time It just jumped up then dropped down in a short period 😞

20:13, 20:43, 21:13, 21:43, 22:13, 22:43, 23:13, 23:43, .....

Thoughts?

So, I think I have caught the culprit that spikes the CPU usage up to 100% in every perfect 30 minutes. It is "SQLservr.exe".

We have installed SQL Express when we installed Virtual Center Server. My question is: Is it normal? Do we need to do anything about it? It doesn't really affect my VI's performance. I just want to be correct.

sounds liek the regularly scheduled Statistics gathering in Virtual Center. The link above provides a way to disable that if not needed

Thank you Lawrence. I will give it a try. Even though we were not using MSDE database at all. I guess there might be something happened while we were upgrading VC2.5 to VC2.5 Update 1.
