I have 20+ Citrix PS4 servers running on ESX3. I see the VMwareUser.exe process running for each user (30 or so per server). What is this process, is it necessary to run per user? If it is not necessary how can prevent it from starting per user?
thanks,
Mike

mfair this process can be killed with no detrement to the running Guest, it should be found here HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run, it may be found in the same Key in HKEY_CURRENT_USER. you can delete it from there, also check HKEY_USERS\.Default

Tom,
Can the VMwareTray.exe process, which is also running for each user, be killed and removed from the Run reg key as well?
thanks,.
