VMs powered off automatically

We have observed that the VMs we have deployed were automatically powered off over the weekend. We have observed this before as well.

Why would this be happening ? The VMs were idle and there was no usage over the weekend.

Is there any setting that is causing this ?

How can we stop this from happening ?

Welcome to the Forums - Are they running in an HA cluster? If they are did one of the ESX hosts become isolated causing the Isolation Response to activate which by defualt is to power off the VMs - but they should have restarted on the other hosts -
