VMWare ESXi & Windows Server licenses

I am going to setup Windows Server 2022 up on my server running VMWare ESXi. What would happen if the SSD was to corrupt erasing all the VMs, data would be backed up but what would happen with the Windows Server license?

According to what I understand from Microsoft's EULA, you can use your license on another/new Windows instance in such a case.
Please consult Microsoft's EULA that applies to your region/country to be sure.
