VMWARE Tools deployment problem

Hello,

When we try to install the VMWARE TOOLS + Visual Studio via SCCM, the install don't succeed and get stuck ! We have to force the VMWARE tools installation otherwise the installation will never succeed.

So we tried to do it via Task Séquence in 3 steps :

1) install the VC++ with the cmd ====> VC_redist.x64.exe" /install /quiet /norestart

2) install the VMWARE Tools with the cmd =====> Setup.exe" /S /v "/qn REBOOT=R"

3) Finlay a reboot is launched

I think do it this way is the best way what are you recommandations ? Is there any issue with last versions ?

As you don't mention which product you are using to host the VMs, and have posted in a generic area, I have reported your post to the moderators asking them to move it to the area for VMware Tools.
