VM Converter enterprise edition?

This site is not too intuitive as far as the cost of the enterprise edition. Can someone help me out with that? is it worth the cost?

Converter Enterprise is included in VI enterprise licenses.

AFAIK it is not available for separate purchase.

I bought VI enterprise so I have the license huh? Should I just contact support to get the lic file? Sorry for being such a green horn, this stuff is more complex than I initially thought.

In this case you simply have to download it.

Login to VMware store, go to the VI (3.5) download site and grab it.

I guess this is because the download link is not where you would expect it to be.

From the page:

http://www.vmware.com/download/converter/

Click on the link in that sentence... or use the one here:

http://www.vmware.com/download/download.do?downloadGroup=CONVERTER3

I have a follow up to this, I have several machines loaded on GSX, do I simple move those over to ESX and start them up or do I need to VMConvert them into ESX?

If the GSX VMs already use SCSI disks you can import the VMDKs into ESX and use them there but most likely Converter is the easier way.
