VCB Question

I'm running VCB 1.5 to do fullvm backups of guests on my ESXi 3.5 server. There are some VMs that I find VCB is creating very large vmdk files... for example I have a winxp guest with a 25GB disk, but only 8GB used - and VCB creates a 22GB file for it, even though I am using the -M1 -F0 switches.

Then there are other VMs that the vmdk file that's created is about the right size for the space used on C:...

Does anyone have any ideas why some VMs create such a huge backup file?

Have you tried to use sdelete (or similar program) to clean the unused blocks in the guest OS?

Thanks for the quick response - actually no, I haven't, but it sounds like exactly what I need.... do you know where I can get this utility?
