Is anyone using Syncsort Backup Express SnapVault backups to backup their Windows virtual machines. We have been using Backup Express for almost a year on physical servers. The product works pretty well and is typically very fast due to its architecture (incrementals forever). Our agency is starting an extensive VM deployment. The testing we've done with using Syncsort has been discouraging. The backup starts and pretty much stops 5 or 10 minutes into the backup.
Syncsort has not been able to replicate the issue nor support us in fixing this. Has anyone seen this before? If so, how did you overcome the issue.
