Hi,

What is your VMware version that you are using ? Is it vSphere 4 or 4 Update 1 ?

What kind of boot media are you using ? ISO file, CD or anything else ?

Is your boot media work somewhere else ?

Bye

Make sure you have the correct media or .iso. Cannot be OEM copy. Is it Windows 2008 or Windows 2008R2? Also do you have boot from CDROM selected in the VM's BIOS?

What OS do you have the VM configured for? For some reason I've found that Windows 2008 works best if the VM is configured for Windows 7.
