Unable to activate the cursor in the vmware console window

Has anyone experienced unable to activate the cursor in the vmware console window? I have a user that recently installed the vSphere 4 client and now he can’t activate the cursor in the vmware console window. He had now problem in ESX 3.5 though.

The issue is on his local workstation, not the vm. The mouse does not work on any vm for him, but works fine for others.

One time i read, the console of virtualization products is very low in performance, as you see when you create 3 VM on the Workstation, it is too slow to work on console, so try remote access i mean try Remote Desktop?

It is faster to use rdp.

IF this is useful, would u please mark it "Helpful" or "Correct"?

Thanks for everyone's reply. The issue turned out to be a result of Cisco CSA  blocking the user's access.
