Supported 64bit guest OS's

I've looked in several pdf but I have yet to come across any documentation that actually lists supported 64bit guest OS's for VMWare vSphere.

read this and searched but it only touches on a couple and some it lists it doesnt state if it supports 64bit.

Is there any document out there that lists supported 64bit OS's under vSphere ?

Hello and welcome to the forums.

Check out the online Compatibility Guides. Here is a direct link to the information you are after:

There is no complete support list, but most OSes are supported in both 32 and 64bit distributives. Sometimes there is a mention in this document to distinguish 32bit and 64bit versions requiremens.

Just take as rule - if OS is mentioned in GuestOS_guide.pdf, it is supported in 32 and 64 bit versions.
