is anyone knowing some alternative methode to copy an vmdk-file to an esxi 3.5 server?

usally way with databrowser we getting an e/a-error

If there is a corresponding VMX file you could try VMware Converter. You could also try vifs from the vCLI. If you don't mind going an unsupported route you can also enable SSH.
