SNMP / Identify as guest via a mib?

Is there a mib available, where it is possible to identify a guest as a guest system (related to installed VMWare Tools or something else)?

I think you can get the required information from the following link.

As far as I can see, these are the ESX mib files. You can get them from the ESX server itself. You can find guest's there when asking the ESX server but they don't help to identify a server as a guest (when you do a SNMP request to some server).

Background:

I want that HP SIM can discover a server as a VMware guest. I found a way to figure it out through a Windows mib. You can get a list of installed software where VMware Tools is one of the items returned. Unfortunately the index is different from server to server and HP SIM can't handle this for system recognition, as the data returned is a list (stored as a table).

Maybe I have to write my own mib, just with one item: to mark it as a VMware guest.
