I'm trying to create a Virtual Disk in an XP VM, which uses SLI Logic SCSI controller. So I followed the tip here:
XP accepts the driver, then, however, still says it can't find any hard disks. Does anyone know what driver I should be using then?

Still no luck. I installed the SLI Logic controller as second SCSI device now (to hang a Virtual Disk on that is using LSI, created by another VM). I tried it manually, within XP (see atachments); no dice (and to think none of this would happen if ESX 3.5 simply supported SATA/IDE, instead of 'forcing' everyone to use SCSI).
There's got to be someone out there who has done this before. Please, report in.
