SLI Logic SCSI in XP SP3

I'm trying to create a Virtual Disk in an XP VM, which uses SLI Logic SCSI controller. So I followed the tip here:

http://www.virtualizationadmin.com/kbase/VirtualizationTips/VirtualizedManagement/VMwareVirtualCente...

XP accepts the driver, then, however, still says it can't find any hard disks. Does anyone know what driver I should be using then?

Thanks.

Still no luck. I installed the SLI Logic controller as second SCSI device now (to hang a Virtual Disk on that is using LSI, created by another VM). I tried it manually, within XP (see atachments); no dice (and to think none of this would happen if ESX 3.5 simply supported SATA/IDE, instead of 'forcing' everyone to use SCSI).

There's got to be someone out there who has done this before. Please, report in. Smiley Happy

Well, it's resolved now! If anyone cares, you need this driver for XP:
