SLES VM VMware Tools version status is 3rd-party/Independent

Dear Team,

I have three SLES 11 64 bit VMs in my environment, Once I see Summary page of these VMs the VMware Tool is Running (3rd-party/Independent), just want to confirm y it's showing 3rd-party/Independent instead of "Current"

the above kb article will give you resolution of your issue.

Please do check the running status of VMware tools status on the machine.  If tools are not in started mode, Then you will get this issue.
