Replicate changes to a VM

Does anyone have insight into procedures for creating a base Golden Image Windows Server VM, then have changes to this Golden Image replicated to the VMs in the cluster. I know Update Manager can do this for security patches. Any mechanisms to be able to update configuration files, dll's and the like? Thanks, -Jeff

I don't know of a method. This capability would be more specific to a product like VMware View and linked clone technology. Currently, I think your options are VUM, WSUS, or some other technology which updates your guests individually.
