Problems loading LSI driver in XP VM

So I am having issues getting an XP VM to run. This is the first time I have done it and can't seem to figure out what is going on. I have looked at the guide and see that it recommends installing the LSI drivers. I downloaded the drivers and created a .flp image with MagicISO (could be the issue). When it gets to the screen to select additional drivers I hit enter and it just sits at a blue screen with "please wait" in the lower left hand corner. It just freezes. I have tried numerous ways and still no luck.

Does anyone know of a good guide I can follow so that I can get this installed? Thanks.

Unfortunately this did not fix my issue. I followed this step by step. However I did make some progress. Now when I hit "S" to specificy other drivers and hit ENTER to finds the driver. Problem is now it doesn't detect any hard disks.

This is so frustrating as it is easy to install 2003 server, etc...
