Problem In only 1 VM on ESX Server 4.1

Dear All,

I am facing a big problem i have 1 main ESX server and on that ESX i have installed 10 VM but all are 32 except one machine and that is 64bit centos. i have recieved complaint from my one customer that sometime unexpectedly we are unable to ping that machine. When i will check that machine and found same problem that after 30 min ping drop and after 5 min again up. when i check network adopter setting i have found only E1000 card and on all other machines flexible network adapter set but in this machine only E1000 is seeing so how i add flexible or enable flexible option in that machine.please give me solution

this virtual machine have vmwaretools installed ?

No i have dont installled any tool on this m achine and also not installed this tool on any machine

using a different ethernetcard than the E1000 only makes sense if you also istall latest vmware-tools
